About Me
Hello, my name is Andrew Milks. I am the founder and CEO of WMD Web Services, LLC. I started WMD in June of 2009 to focus on Open Source website and web application development. Our goal is to design top quality websites, and develop the very best web applications without the high price tag that is so prevalent among larger web development companies.
Before I started working with Open Source website and web application software I spent my time working with do-it-yourself website builders and pre-built web application solutions. But after my first install of Joomla, there was no going back to "website builders". I fell in love with Joomla, and the wide range of extensions available in the Joomla Extensions Directory.
This is not to say that anyone could create an amazing website or build a web application. I do have a great deal of talent and I have a good working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, JS, and XML. It does take skill to create truly stunning websites, and the overall choices involved with Joomla websites can easily overwhelm a new user into choosing a simpler, but inferior product.
